LAS VEGAS — Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper, a man who has had the Vegas Golden Knights logo embossed on the nob of his bats, told USA TODAY Sports recently he plans to use a rare off day to fly into Las Vegas to see the Golden Knights play next week.
NBA legend Charles Barkley also said he is trying to find a break in his television analyst schedule “to slip into Vegas” to see a game.
“I’m told Vegas is the craziest place to see a hockey game,” he said.
The expansion Golden Knights, tied 1-1 going into tonight’s Game 3 of the Western Conference final against the Winnipeg Jets, have become the NHL’s golden attraction.
